Announcing yeule Signing + "Pretty Bones" Video

Music Video new artist yeule

We are so happy to announce that we've signed Singapore born, London-based artist, yeule (Nat Ćmiel) to Bayonet Records! Making electronic music from her bedroom since 2014, yeule is an internet-grown artist who uses dark and dreamy soundscapes to craft her own world. Her innovative beats, whimsical synth parts, and vulnerable lyrics meld to create an original sound. A self-taught producer, her intuition yields unpredictable rhythms and nostalgic melodies. Her imagination is vast and we are so excited to have her aboard. We love yeule and hope you do too!!
To get better acquainted, we'd like to introduce you to the video for yeule's song "Pretty Bones", out today! yeule, with the help of director Joy Song, pairs the visual with the sonic to transport her audiences into her deceivingly opulent irreality. Through captivating time-lapse footage and rousing movement, she artfully explores the dimensionality of identity transformation in a chaotic world.

"I would sit and play this song on guitar for hours and hours before I wrote any words or melodies, just existing in it and meditating almost. Around the same time, I was undergoing a pretty major shift in perspective, and I began to find a lot of unexpected love and confidence in myself. The lyrics reflect those ideas."
